Riverside Park: 1992- Present Day
After the dismantling of the old Rocket Slide, Future Neenah assisted in raising money for a new attraction to replace it. The campaign started off on July 4th, 2006 and planned to start construction early spring 2007. Being a community project, the target goal was $160,000. The whole building process was completed in one weekend, April 20-22 of 2007. The playground features many assets: there are pentagon decks, interior hub ladders, decagon roofs, spacecraft view extensions, full spacecraft panels and "Launch Pad" signs, a moon rock climber, a moon crater climber, a space kid climber, topped with a rocket roof.
We went “Back to the Future” – the Riverside Park is being updated for a new generation of Neenah’s children.- Future Neenah
